I've updated my website to include info on the new -- exciting, exciting! -- edition of Shadows of Past Memories!
After some debate, I decided to go through the story, and add a few things, thus making the new edition. This edition has new extras, an updated, manuscript, and a sneak-peak at the next book in the series, Shadows at Midnight. I'm very excited about this new edition, and I hope you all enjoy it. Great, big news! First off, I've added a new page to the website, and am getting ready to release a new story! This is going to be the first of my (hopefully many) short stories, and is called Divide. For more info, and to learn where to get your copy, check out the new Short Stories page!
Secondly, work on The Ending is going well, and the novel will be released in Late Spring/Early Summer. I'm looking very forward to it, and I hope you are, too!

Hello, dear readers!
A few small changes have been made to the site, which mainly focus on my upcoming Fantasy novel, the Ending.
After much thought, I have decided to place The Ending in Adult Fiction, making it my first "official" Adult Fiction title. This decision was mainly made due to the character's age in the second part of The Ending two-some, a novel which will be released in Spring 2013, and will end the main character "Izzy"s story. So, to better fit with the next novel, I have decided to up the main character's age to eighteen in The Ending (was sixteen), as well as placing it in the Adult genre.
The new synopsis for The Ending can be found on the Upcoming Projects page, as well as the new release date. Due to scheduling complications, The Ending will now be released Late Spring 2012, instead of April as previously planned.
Also, I have added a new page, detailing the genres I write, and what books fall into what genre. It is my hope that this will help readers find a book of mine that they will like more easily. Also on the page, you can find information about my brand-new genre, Feliscopic Fiction. For more information, visit the My Genres page.
And last but not least ~ Shadows of Past Memories, the first in my Foxfire Chronicles series, is FREE today! To get a copy for your Kindle, visit: Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk!

I have two big announcements, and a good side note.
The first is -- Lyrics of the Heart is now officially available on Amazon! To get your copy, please visit the Other Stories page. I'm so excited that this novella is out and open in the world. I really enjoyed working on it, and I put a lot of time and effort into its words. The paperback version of the novella will be available later on this month, with five bonus poems!
Also, please check the Upcoming Projects for your first look at The Ending, my upcoming Fantasy novel. You definitely won't want to miss this story!
Also, on the Foxfire Chronicles page, you can see the new Foxfire Chronicles banner. I'm so proud of this banner, and I feel like it really gives an extra emphasis to the series. I hope you like it as well!

Today is a momentous day, indeed! Here I am, a few hours after posting my last update, and I have more news to tell you --
The Shadows of Past Memories Ebook is officially for sale! (screams very loudly, but with joy)
I cannot tell you how excited I am about this (and if I could, you might think me a little loopy). It's been such a long journey to get to this point, and I'm so grateful for the people who have helped me. To everyone: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! There's an extra "Thank You" at the end of the novel, but I wanted to express my thanks here. Most of all, to my friend Destiny, who has been texting me like crazy asking if the book was for sale yet (and now, it is!).
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I'm looking so forward to hearing your comments about SOPM. I really hope you enjoy the book (which you can now purchase!). The site has been updated, and now includes a link on the Merch! page to the official merchandise store. The store is called "A Story Shared, By Alexandra Lanc", and all the book-merch designs in it were designed by none other than yours truly.
In the store you'll find a number of sections, ranging from mugs and hats to character and team apparel. The two biggest sections I wanted to bring to your attention are the "Character Connection" and the "Budget Bay". In the "Budget Bay", there are value-priced SOPM items designed for those of you wanting to buy less expensive merchandise. And in the "Character Connection", there are Character-portrait tee's specifically made for the Character fan (these designs will also make an appearance in the paperback version of SOPM, coming soon).

This particular video makes me smile every time I see it. I'd never made a video before this, so figuring it out was a little bit hard, but I'm very proud of my work. The video soundtrack I also created, and am also very proud of. I hope you enjoy the book trailer, and am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the novel!
P.S: You may notice the drawings in the trailer/video. These are portraits of two of SOPM's (Shadows of Past Memories') characters. They will be appearing on the Foxfire Chronicles merch!, available soon. Please look for it!

Today is a momentous day, indeed! Here I am, a few hours after posting my last update, and I have more news to tell you --
The Shadows of Past Memories Ebook is officially for sale! (screams very loudly, but with joy)
I cannot tell you how excited I am about this (and if I could, you might think me a little loopy). It's been such a long journey to get to this point, and I'm so grateful for the people who have helped me. To everyone: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! There's an extra "Thank You" at the end of the novel, but I wanted to express my thanks here. Most of all, to my friend Destiny, who has been texting me like crazy asking if the book was for sale yet (and now, it is!).
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I'm looking so forward to hearing your comments about SOPM. I really hope you enjoy the book (which you can now purchase!). The site has been updated, and now includes a link on the Merch! page to the official merchandise store. The store is called "A Story Shared, By Alexandra Lanc", and all the book-merch designs in it were designed by none other than yours truly.
In the store you'll find a number of sections, ranging from mugs and hats to character and team apparel. The two biggest sections I wanted to bring to your attention are the "Character Connection" and the "Budget Bay". In the "Budget Bay", there are value-priced SOPM items designed for those of you wanting to buy less expensive merchandise. And in the "Character Connection", there are Character-portrait tee's specifically made for the Character fan (these designs will also make an appearance in the paperback version of SOPM, coming soon).

This particular video makes me smile every time I see it. I'd never made a video before this, so figuring it out was a little bit hard, but I'm very proud of my work. The video soundtrack I also created, and am also very proud of. I hope you enjoy the book trailer, and am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the novel!
P.S: You may notice the drawings in the trailer/video. These are portraits of two of SOPM's (Shadows of Past Memories') characters. They will be appearing on the Foxfire Chronicles merch!, available soon. Please look for it!

I'm so excited about this new series and all the challenges it brings to me and to the world of reading.
