Divide - A Short Story
From The Author
"Divide" was one of the first short stories I released, and one of my more pensive tales. Inspired by my father's love for all things alien, I wanted to try my hand at a sic-fi story, rather than fantasy, which I typically make a habit of writing in. The result was a strange little story that talks about the future, and how it is influenced by the past.
I unpublished Divide, but hope to some day republish it with a bit of editing.
You know the story --
Mistakes are made, and our main character is taken through time to see how the world would have changed if they were not in it.
But Festivia isn't gone. In fact, her world is just beginning now that she's out of school, starting her life, moving on. Until she meets an Arios -- alien -- named Orìon on the train, and Orìon takes her through time to witness the horrible future that she will create.
The horrible future that only she can change.
In this thrilling Science-Fiction short, changing the world is a matter of changing yourself.
