About Me...

A Writer On A Mission...

I've been obsessed with writing practically all of my life, and have been scribbling "stories" ever since I could form letters (and even before, writing squiggles that somewhat resembled letters). I started writing my first "real" novel when I was twelve, and finished about halfway through my thirteenth year, though I don't ever expect anyone to see that novel, since it has gone into hiding...

I was admitted into college early through Duel Enrollment, and met some of my favorite people at school--as well as my favorite professors (*insert laugh here*; Mrs. K, you're awesome). I started out as a dance and theatre major, wanting to go into acting and possibly dance with the NYCB, but after taking a Creative Writing class, I decided to pursue my life-long dream of becoming a published author.

Now, years and many trials, and rewrites later, here I am in the literary world, trying to make my way and having my stories read. In my writing life, my readers and the things that they take away from my writing are most important to me, so in my books you'll always find a heavy emphasis on character and emotion, where even the most fantastical story never loses its human element. And every story has a story, as do I, so I hope you'll read and enjoy.
